Today the peace of the campground was disrupted by new construction occurring on the main side of the horse park. The whole place is getting a facelift along with new venues for the 2010 equestrian games. During the afternoon some blasting took place which was cool given that it could be felt before the sound of the blast got here. The rest of the day was filled with the sound of heavy equipment and back up alarms. All from a distance but noisy nontheless.
Gracie had a vet visit today for her yearly checkup and the vet confirmed what we already knew. Gracie is in great health and growing normally.
Becky’s day has been filled with babysitting and grocery shopping and I managed to get home to mow grass between rain showers. All in all a full day of not quiet. It was too good to last.
Now the day is winding down and I must be off.
