If you’ve ever driven down a narrow country road, you know that the first time is all about learning where the curves are. Even after driving the same road several times it’s still a challenge to remember all the curves. Unless the road is a short one. This point could be used as a metaphor for life or a new job or anything new. It’s always about learning the curves…and just to keep it interesting…dodging the newly formed pot holes. Even after you learn the curves…up jumps a new pot hole.
As in life, just when you think you are cruising, look out!…there’s a new pot hole. And don’t even get me started on the other hazards along the way. Like loose gravel, small animals and/or the weather conditions just to name a few. You always have to stay on your toes or you may find yourself in the ditch…or worse.
Just the ramblings of an old man at 2:30 in the morning. I must be off.
